Hi MaryLou!
Bandit and I would like to join the pre-agility class. I had neurosurgery so I wasn’t Able to complete the prior course I was in a few years ago. Now I am able to re-join.
Thanks
Any Crossett and Bandit
Can you send me more detail about what training the dog receives in the pre-agility program … And what the dog must be able to do … In order to satisfactorily complete the course and be admitted to Beginners 1 program … Thanks
Hi,
I was wondering what the class schedules are for pre agility for your next new session and what the class consists of. Interested in signing my dog up for this. Thank you!
Kelsey
Hello Dan,
My name is Cliff Anderson (anderson_cliff@mac.com) and I have recently taken over the role as webmaster for Flexible Flyers.
To answer your question, both our puppy and pre-agility classes have limited prerequisites. We like for the dogs to have their rabies shots and we do ask for an 8-week commitment for each session.
My pre-agility class has now progressed to Beginners Levels 1 and 2, as all the participants can now execute all the obstacles and have basic handling skills.
We do have another instructor starting Pre-Agility and this class will be Thursday nights. Please contact Mary Lou Hughes (vdon@comcast.net) to inquire about availability for that class.
Alternatively, you can reach out to me directly to talk about other options for training at Flexible Flyers or another local facility. Again, my email is anderson_cliff@mac.com
Thanks again,
C

Hello!
I’m looking to start my border collie Spirit in the Beginners Class. But I was wondering what the schedule is like. Such as what time class starts and ends and during what day(s) of the week. I was also wondering what matters each level of Beginners covers? For example, Spirit has previous training but unfortunately we had to stop. She had last been working with lowered contacts, rear crosses and nearly closed channel weaves. In the case that Beginners 1 does not start at this level, is she required to start with you all at that stage regardless?
Thanks in advance,
Breanna
Hi Breanna —
I do have one opening in our Foundation Agility class but would like to talk to you about the curriculum, dates / time and such. It sounds like Spirit would make a wonderful addition to that class. If this is not a fit, I will work with you to find an appropriate class. No worries.
Please ring my cell at +1-917-825-5693 or write to me at anderson_cliff@mac.com.
Hello, please advise how to find out about classes and who to speak to about getting connected. I have hit dead ends twice. Thank you, Sarah
